Nguen-assist against Ronaldo and co. – VG

Tokmac Nguen had to say no to the emergency national team due to a bad hoarding. Ferencvaros is in a hectic match program, but on Wednesday the Norwegian played fresh, fast and full energy against Juventus.

The 27-year-old, with a past in Strømsgodset, spent 19 minutes making his mark on the match.

First he sent Danilo on his ass, then he moved away from Alex Sandro. “Tokki” stormed forward and into Juventus’ 16-meter, before finding Myrto Uzuni. The striker guided the guests in the lead, and humbly marked the score by imitating Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic celebration.

It may look like the Portuguese got it. For the world star, typically answered just over a quarter of an hour later. Ronaldo pulled past a man and into the field from the right edge, before knocking the ball into the nearest corner. His 70th goal at home in the Champions League.

Nguen was substituted after 70 minutes. Former Stabæk and AaFK player Franck Boli came in. He failed to change the result. Alvaro Morata was the replacement.

In overtime, Juan Cuadrado found the Spaniard on the back post, and with the help of a slightly clumsy goalkeeper, the header eventually ended in goal.

Nguen has been in brilliant form in the Champions League this season. In the opening match of the group stage, he delivered goal-scoring and knocked in a goal that was later canceled. In the next match against Dynamo Kiev, he found the net masks again, this time in a counting way.

All hope is now out for Ferencvaros in the Champions League. Juventus is in 2nd place in the group, seven points ahead of “Tokki” and co. With two games left, it is thus impossible to regain the lead.

In the last two matches, Barcelona are waiting at home and Dynamo away for Ferencvaros – two new opportunities to appear on the biggest stage for Nguen.
