NFL Quarterback Creates Something Very Rare | Sports

For decades, every football fan around the world knew there was only one team in AFC East that was guaranteed a ticket to the playoffs at the end of the season. The New England Patriots with Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick were the measure of all things there in terms of sport.

But since Brady’s departure for Tampa, the wind has changed in AFC East!

It is not only the lack of a future Hall of Famer that is giving the Patriots a hard time, but above all two teams that have become real powers in recent years thanks to good draft picks and free will exchanges. We are talking about the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins.

It was pretty clear that the Bills would pick up where they left off last year, as Buffalo had even strengthened their squad with Von Miller (33) and also managed to keep all the high performance on board. The fact that Bills’ players are so perfectly in tune with each other at the start of the season is truly impressive.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen showed in the opening game of the season against defending champion Rams that he is more than serious on two floors this season: first, his statement following the narrow defeat at the end of last season against the Chiefs who was with him the Bills will no longer give tight matches and on the other hand he wants to finally win the MVP title.

The appearance and the plays of the young attacking midfielder cannot be interpreted differently. He performs every work with pure will. He is willing to do what he can if necessary, even knowing that success is on the way.

And it is precisely this attitude that motivates and conditions the whole team. Stefan Diggs in particular has gotten even better than he was with Vikings since joining the Bills thanks to Allen. Diggs received 12 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns against the Titans – staggering numbers. These numbers will also give the next opponents a sleepless night or two. 72 points on their attack against only 17 points allowed. There is no better way to start the season.

But it is not only the offense to make sensational in the first two games, but also the defense of Bills: interceptions and sack on the assembly line. The guys from Matt Milano and Jordan Poyer put their mark on both games.

“We have the will to dominate,” said final defense Von Miller after a resounding 41-7 win over the Titans. The defense of the Bills confirmed those words every second on the pitch. They kept Derek Henry, possibly the best running back of his generation, at minus 2.6 yards for the Titans. But not only that: the Titans manager even replaced his quarterback Tannehill because he saw no possibility of still being a factor in the game.

This Sunday’s opponent, the Dolphins, had and still has some questions in the room. However, the team led by young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa achieved a small football miracle with a comeback in the fourth quarter against the Ravens last week.

Tua transformed the game in a way rarely seen in the NFL. The young playmaker had six touchdowns and 469 yards at the end of the game. The football he showed at the end of the game with his two receivers Waddel and Hill was breathtaking. So the Dolphins are now like the Bills with two wins and zero losses at the top of the NFL.

But does it remain so? Are the Dolphins really a top-notch team or rather a unique marvel? Miami started the season with their eighth manager in 15 years and they are confident that Mike McDaniel can finally be the man. So far, the Dolphins’ plan is working.

Now comes Josh Allen and the Bills, the feared absolute opponent of the Dolphins. In the last seven games the Miami team have always been at a disadvantage and Allen has always had a really good day. He has had 19 touchdowns with only three interceptions.

Therefore, the Dolphins not only have to orient themselves well in Sunday’s game, but also to outdo themselves, especially in defense, to have a real chance of winning for the first time in years.

All signs point to a heavyweight fight like Rumble in the Jungle between Foreman and Ali, which can become an open party until the last moment. But if the Dolphins defense misses the start of the match, it could turn into a fight reminiscent of Mike Tyson’s early knockouts …

That’s why I am very happy to be able to comment on this match together with multiple Super Bowl winner and German NFL face Sebastian Vollmer from 7pm on ProSieben.
