BORCULO – General practice Oosterwijk, Bierens and Melman and general practice ‘de Bongerd’ of general practitioners Broekhuizen and Molthof have decided in connection with the special circumstances caused by the corona crisis to one joint vaccination day on Wednesday 28 October. The vaccinations will be given in Muziekgebouw de Volharding, Haarloseweg 7 in Borculo. Due to the corona virus, it is important that the crowds are spread as much as possible. That is why time blocks are used. All patients have received an invitation letter stating the time when they are expected. “You are urged to arrive at the specified time. Pneumococcenvaccinatie
Patients in the age groups of 73 to 79 years also receive an invitation for pneumococcal vaccination. This vaccination will be given at the same time as the flu vaccination in the other upper arm.
The invitation for the flu vaccinations only applies to patients who belong to one of the so-called risk groups:
A) Anyone aged 60 and over;
B) Persons who have any of the following conditions:
-diabetes
-heart and vascular disease
-chronic lung diseases
-chronic kidney disease
-reduced resistance eg during chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
To make the vaccination as smooth as possible, you are requested to dress in such a way that the upper arm can be easily exposed.
The following also applies: keep a distance of 1.5 m, wear a mouth mask and follow the instructions given to you.
