This phenomenon occurs especially when you have several days of very hot weather, and the temperature does not drop much at night,” he says.

“It’s indisputable: the electrical equipment suffers from the heat”, assures Thierry Bara. To deal with this situation, Enedis has planned a “climate hazard” plan. “We watch the weather forecast very carefully, and when we know that there are going to be heat waves or very hot weather, we mobilize teams of agents in sufficient quantity to be able to repair several faults simultaneously”, details as well as the group’s environmental manager.
