News | Coronavirus: French nationals from China in quarantine tomorrow in Aix-en-Provence

The state has been looking for 36 hours one or more sites to accommodate French nationals from China because of the proliferation of coronavirus in this country. The choice fell in particular on the premises of the National School of Firefighting Officers (Ensosp), installed in Aix-en-Provence on the site of the former Air Base 114 since 2007.

The school director Hervé Enard asked the students to vacate the premises and suspended the training for a period of three weeks. Several dozen nationals are expected to land tomorrow on the site runway aboard an aircraft chartered by the Air Force. They will remain in quarantine for 14 days, supervised by an imposing security and containment system.
