Results of the Swiss in North America (13.02.2021)

NHL:

San José Sharks – Las Vegas Golden Knights : 1 – 3  (0-1 1-1 0-1)

For their return home, the Sharks were no match for Las Vegas. Jonathan Marchessault and Mark Stone gave the Nevada club two goals before Tomas Hertl reduced the score. In the third period, Chandle Stephenson scored his 5th goal of the season.

No point for the attacker Timo Meier who played for 15’48 ”. The Swiss finished with 1 shot, 4 charges and a +1 record.


Chicago Blackhawks – Columbus Blue Jackets :  3 – 2  OT  (0-1 1-1 1-0 1-0)

Helped by Philipp Kurashev, forward Carl Soderberg scored his 1st goal for the Blackhawks at the right time as he scored 2-2. A few minutes later, during extra time, it was Alex DeBrincat who sealed the outcome of the match by giving the victory to Chicago. Nicolas Beaudin was the Blackhawks’ last goal scorer as Patrik Laine and Cam Atkinson beat goaltender Kevin Lankinen.

Aligned for 15’27 ”, Philipp Kurashev finished with an assist, his 4th of the season. He ended up with a neutral record and 2 shots. His compatriot Pius Suter (19’00 ”) finished without a point, but with 2 shots. As in the last match, the defender Dean Kukan was left out by Columbus.


Nashville Predators – Detroit Red Wings :  2 – 4  (0-2 0-1 2-1)

The attacker Sven Bärtschi got his second assist of the season in the Comets’ 6-5 penalty shootout win over the Devils. The Bernese however did not convert his penalty.


LHJMQ:

The Cataractes lost 4-2 to the Phoenix. During the match, the Shawinigan striker Lorenzo Canonica finished without a point.

Same result for Attilio Biasca and the Mooseheads who lost 3-0 to the Islanders.

In Quebec, Theo Rochette finished with 3 assists in the 5-2 win over Gatineau.
