New York Yankees sign former San Francisco Giants pitcher

The New York Yankees have signed a pitcher with a past with the Baltimore Orioles and San Francisco Giants. Minor league signings continue with players looking to move up or return to the big leagues.

Yankees sign pitcher with past in Baltimore and San Francisco

This is Gar Fenter, a 27-year-old pitcher who was drafted in the 7th round and 223rd overall pick in 2015 by the Baltimore Orioles. In 2021 he became a free agent, for which he was signed by the San Francisco Giants. He is a pitcher who has 6 seasons in the minor leagues. He where he has numbers of 22 games won by 17 lost, a 3.95 ERA and has prescribed 402 strikeouts. He still hasn’t gotten a chance to prove himself in the big leagues.
