New York’s commercial airports exceeded 100 million passengers during 2022. Among them, John F. Kennedy (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport and La Guardia.
Through the end of November 2022, New York’s commercial airports received 116.6 million passengers each, meaning New York could be ahead of London’s six airports.
According to CAPA, a company dedicated to keeping these statistics on the state of the world’s airlines and which it calls “non-places”, in 2022 3.8 billion people boarded worldwide, according to ABC.
