New York takes action against weddings with more than 10,000 participants

New York is one of the cities hardest hit by the corona pandemic in the United States. Nevertheless, a couple wanted to celebrate their wedding there – with more than 10,000 guests.

New York authorities may be against having a scheduled wedding more than 10,000 participants took part. “There was a big wedding planned that would have violated the rules of convention,” said Governor Andrew Cuomo on Saturday.

According to one employee, an investigation found that the celebration was to take place on Monday in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.
