The Dow Jones Industrial rose to a high of 31,509 points immediately after trading began on Wednesday and was most recently 0.36 percent higher at 31,488.84 points. The other leading indices also reached record highs again. The market-wide S&P 500 recently rose by 0.29 percent to 3926.53 points.
