The observatory at the iconic tower of New York’s new World Trade Center, One WTC, will open to the public on May 29, officials said on Tuesday.

The observatory is located on three levels, on the 100th, 101st and 102nd floors of the tallest glass office tower in the Western Hemisphere, built on the site of the 9/11 attacks, south of Manhattan.

At 381 meters high, visitors will be able to admire all of New York’s famous landmarks and parks. And on a clear day, they should see up to 60 km around.

The main observatory is on the 100th floor. On the 101st floor, visitors will find a café, restaurant and light food. And at the 102nd, a cinema for a 3D presentation of the city that never sleeps.

Admission will cost $ 32 for adults, $ 30 for seniors, and $ 26 for children.

The observatory will be open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to midnight until September 7, 2015, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. thereafter, until May 5, 2016.

Reservations are possible from this Wednesday.

One World Trade Center was completed at the end of 2013 and its first occupants moved in last November.

Two other observatories are already very popular with tourists in New York: that of the Empire State Building, open until 2:00 am, and that of Rockefeller Center, “Top of the Rock”, open until midnight.
