New York body shop shooting leaves 1 dead, several injured

A gunman wearing a ski mask killed one man and injured three others when he opened fire on a Queens body shop on Saturday night, police said.

The shooter approached the group outside a business at 129-09 89th Ave. in Richmond Hill around 9:40 p.m., according to police and sources.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a 24-year-old man dead with a gunshot wound to the head, police and sources said.

Another man was shot in the right leg and two women were grazed by bullets, police said.

Both men were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where the 24-year-old was pronounced dead, cops said. Both women refused to receive medical treatment.

Twelve casings were recovered from the scene, sources said.

No suspects have been identified, police said.
