New York: a man saved a woman from being stabbed to death

The incident occurred on May 19, when Sean Conaboy was waiting for the subway to arrive on a platform in a Manhattan station when he noticed a man who was acting “a little suspiciously.”

It was then that the attacker approached the woman from behind, threw her to the ground and for no apparent reason began to stab her savagely.

In an act of courage and without delaying more than a few seconds, Conaboy rammed the criminal and prevented him from continuing with the attack on the woman.

After getting the attacker to get away from the victim, Conaboy, with the help of other passersby, managed to retain the attacker, until the police arrived at the scene.

The attacked victim, a 54-year-old woman, was stabbed several times in the back and chest. After the attack, she was transferred to a hospital with injuries and was admitted, although her life is not in danger.

Meanwhile, the hero who broke into the New York subway station says it was “natural instinct” that led him to act this way and he is glad he saved the woman and was unharmed.

“I am happy to be alive, and I am even more fortunate to have been able to help someone who was in serious danger and could have lost his life as a result of a random act of violence,” Conaboy said.

The detainee was identified as Joshua Nazario, 22 years old.

After the actions of the Police, he was arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
