New York: a little too loud sirens

In New York, more than anywhere else, emergency vehicles are increasingly responsible for accidents. In 2020, 114 deaths involving police vehicles were recorded, 33 were caused by ambulances and 25 by fire trucks. We do not sort out what is urgent and what is not. This is what Dr. Jeffe Clawson, an emergency physician in Salt Lake City and inventor of an emergency protocol used in 60 countries, including France, but still not in the United States, explains to us.
