WhatsApp: pinning messages is coming
WhatsApp is regularly updated with new features. These usually appear in advance in test versions and are known early on. It’s happened again now. You can look forward to a new one pin feature in chats, which WhatsApp is currently testing in the beta version of the Android version with build number 2.23.3.17. This new function is not yet accessible to you, but is only available to a very few testers so far.
Basically, the WhatsApp pin function in chats is self-explanatory. Pin a message in individual or group chatso that it is always visible. There you can save important information, such as access data for streaming services, which you share with friends. In group chats, however, rules can also be set for this channel that everyone always wants to see. The options are flexible.
WhatsApp introduced this pin function to the chat overview some time ago. You can pin three chats that are important to you there, so that they are always visible at the top. Since the feature was there, I’ve been using it too. I don’t know if that will also be the case in chats. At least the Then I don’t have to keep asking for passwords for streaming services.
