Developers and daredevils are in the middle of the beta of iOS 14, but Apple is also still working on the current public version of iOS. Recently iOS 13.6 appeared for the iPhone, but now the subsequent update iOS 13.6.1 is available.

With such minor updates, Apple usually fixes a few known and unknown bugs and improves security. iOS 13.6.1 has not been tested as beta in recent weeks, so we did not know in advance what exactly has been resolved and what may have been adjusted. Apple says that the green haze at the iPhone 11 screen has been resolved with this update.

iOS 13.6.1 contains bug fixes for your iPhone:

• Fixed an issue where unnecessary system files might not be automatically deleted when free storage space is low
• Fixed an issue in the thermal management that caused a green haze on some displays
• Fixed an issue where exposure alerts might be disabled for some users

In iOS 13.6, Apple added some improvements and new features. CarKey became available and you have since been able to access the Health app record symptoms.

At the same time, Apple has now also made iPadOS 13.6.1 available. Anyone with a suitable iPad can download or install the update now. This probably contains the same improvements as in iOS 13.6.1.

Download iOS 13.6.1
To download iOS 13.6.1, do the following:

1. Go on you iPhone to Settings> General> Software Update. Wait until the update appears on the screen.
2. Tap on Download and install.
3. Wait until your device has rebooted and the installation is complete.

You can also update through iTunes or the Finder. Before that, close yourself iPhone of iPad with a cable attached to you Mac or PC and open iTunes or the Finder macOS Catalina. Click on your connected device and choose Search for update. The update will then be downloaded and then installed on your device.

Are you on the beta of iOS 14? Then you will not see an update. The only way to get the improvements is through you iPhone downgrade.
