New Skoda and Volkswagen recall due to risk of fuel leakage

Recall 2 472 cars are subject Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguanmanufactured between 2019 and 2020. VIN codes are listed on the Rosstandart website.

The official reason for recalling cars is as follows: on cars with diesel engines on the fuel line may be installed hose of inappropriate quality. This can lead to leaks in the fuel line and, as a result, to a fuel leak.

Car owners need to contact the nearest dealership and arrange a visit time.

All Kodiaks and Tiguanas will check the date and time of production of the fuel line hose. If the hose is not marked or the date and time of manufacture are indicated on the hose, the hose will be replaced free of charge.
