New Seat Leon: From diesel to plug-in hybrid

Seat offers the Leon with a range of engines that includes everything except electronics. So you can the Leon with gasoline, diesel, Mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and TGI (gas) to get.

Let’s stay with the engines. The range in detail:

gasoline
1.0 l three-cylinder: 90/110 hp
1.5 l four-cylinder: 130/150 hp
2.0-liter four-cylinder: 190 hp

diesel
2.0 TDI with SCR (AdBlue injection): 115/150 hp

CNG
1.5 l TGI: 130 hp

Mild hybrid
48V starter generator and lithium-ion battery in conjunction with 1.0 TSI (110 or 150 PS)

Plug-in hybrid
Combination of 1.4 TSI and electric motor: 204 hp, electric range: 60 km

The 190 PS TSI comes with a DSG dual clutch transmission, as does the plug-in hybrid. The 150-hp diesel is optionally available with DSG, and there is a combination in the Sport Tourer diesel, DSG also as 4Drive all-wheel drive variant.

One is particularly proud of Seat Leon’s full LED lighting technology. The front headlights are designed to give the Leon an unmistakable face and shine thanks to 22 LEDs per module with a brightness of 900 lumens.
The magic word is inside digitalization, The digital cockpit with a 10.25 inch screen can be individually set up and in the middle sits a touchscreen that is 8.25 inches or 10 inches (with navigation system) depending on the equipment.
Thanks to the integrated SIM card, the Leon is always online. Similar to the new Golf, the selector lever for the automatic transmission has shrunk to a short stub.

Market launch for the new Seat Leon is in the course of the second quarter that has prices Seat not yet betrayed.
