They also showed off a lot of video trailers to welcome its launch. Unfortunately, the moment of release took a 180 degree turn after they were flooded with tens of thousands of negative reviews.
According to reports from GamesRadar, Battlefield 2042 entered the Hall of Shame roster on Steam 250. The site tracks game which has the worst reviews by calculating the percentage difference.
Battlefield 2042 is ranked ninth while eFootball 2022 still maintains its first position as the worst game on the Hall of Shame list. Not a few fans who provide reviews and ask for a refund.
They complained about a lot of bugs, no shooter direction indicator, limited weapons, crash problems to the loss of many expected features.
“I have played every Battlefield PC game since the original Battlefield 1942. I firmly believe that this is the worst title of the Battlefield series,” wrote one player.

“I never imagined that a Battlefield made by a well-known developer could be this bad. It’s really unplayable. I hope they fix it soon!“said another user.
Although the developer provides additional modes and a wider map, it looks like Battlefield 2042 still looks disappointing for fans.
Developers and publishers have not responded to the tens of thousands of bad reviews that hit Battlefield 2042. It is also possible that they will follow Konami’s steps by providing an apology and promising new updates.
