NEW YORK – Hundreds of students returned to face-to-face classes Monday after their schools were closed for at least two weeks after being in the red zones due to the large number of COVID-19 cases. After fewer cases were reported, Governor Cuomo gave the green light for them to reopen their doors.
This same day, Mayor Bill de Blasio together with the city’s Chancellor of Education, Richard Carranza, announced that families that have students taking remote classes could register them from November 2 to November 15 to receive blended learning, that is, part of the week remotely and other days in person.
