The damage reported on Thursday morning to the hot water boiler (CAF 2) of CET Brazi, the only one that produces heating agent in Ploiesti, has not been repaired as new problems have appeared in the meantime. Representatives from Termo Ploiești announced, nearly 12 hours after the failure was reported, that “work is still ongoing on CAF2”.
UPDATE: 21:56 – For the third time, new pores were discovered on the pipes of the hot water boiler (CAF 2) during testing. “A new test under pressure will be carried out at 24.00,” said technical director Ioan Dobrescu, technical director of Termo Ploiești.

“CAF 2 is still in the works,” said Ioan Dobrescu, director of Termo Ploiești, on Thursday evening.
According to representatives of Termo Ploiești, four new pores were found on the pipes during the tests, which is why the supply of hot water and heat was not resumed.
We recall that on Thursday morning, around 07:00, a breakdown occurred in CAF 2, which is why Termo Ploiești announced the interruption of the supply of heating agents to Ploiești, the announced repair time is approximately eight hours.
