ANACOM was concerned to ensure that it will not be necessary to replace or reorient the antenna, change the TV or decoder, and no one will have to subscribe to pay television services. In the case of condominiums / buildings that have installations with mono-channel amplifiers they may have to replace them.
According to the Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (Anacom), as of this Monday the DTT migration process will start in the so-called region 3.
In total 44 emitters will change frequency in this region, from the districts of Santarém, Coimbra and Castelo Branco, and some locations in the south of the districts of Viseu and Aveiro

To help in this process, ANACOM has created a toll free helpline 800 102 002, which works every day between 9 am and 10 pm, to which people can call to clarify doubts and obtain support when tuning in to their television.
If they are unable to tune the equipment themselves or with the help provided through the toll free number 800 102 002, ANACOM will schedule a visit to the person's home to tune in, with their technicians and free of charge.
