New on Netflix: These films and series were released last week | NOW

Every week, Netflix expands its offer with new films and series. This week we see, among other things, new seasons of animated series Carmen Sandiego in Disenchantment and a documentary about the Original series of 2020.

Series

Disenchantment

Season 3 of Disenchantment is now on Netflix. Or rather: part 3, as the makers call it. In this animated series by The Simpsonscreator Matt Groening, we follow the medieval adventures of the alcohol-addicted Princess Bean, her personal demon Luci and the naive elf Elfo.

Carmen Sandiego

Another animated series also returned: Carmen Sandiego. The comical action adventure about this modern ‘Robin Hood’ (voiced by Jane the Virginfame Gina Rodriguez) comes to an end with the fourth and final season.

Dawson’s Creek

A trip down memory lane for many millennials! Dawson’s Creek captivated teenagers for six seasons, from 1998 to 2003. The series is set in the fictional town of Capeside and revolves around a young group of friends. We see very young versions of James Van Der Beek and Katie Holmes. Season 1 is now online.

Bling Empire

Ready to dive into the lives of the rich and famous? In the reality series Bling Empire you follow a select group of super rich Asian and Asian-American people. The group is completely immersed in the parties, drama and glamor of LA.

Kuroko’s Basketball

When the dikes break

The Secrets of Barslet

Another Dutch series: The Secrets of Barslet from 2012. In seven episodes we see the same strange events that take place in the fictional rural village of Barslet. Each episode focuses on a different character and so we always get to see a different perspective.
