The NK cycling of 2020 will be held on August 21, 22 and 23. The national championships should have taken place in June, but the corona virus threw a spanner in the works.
As a result of the relaxation of the measures for sports events from 1 July, the Dutch championships in Drenthe can now be held in August, provided that the current rules are not tightened up in the meantime.

“It would have been good to explain if we could not organize this year given the social interests that had priority for several months,” explained Thorwald Veneberg, general manager of the Dutch cycling union KNWU. “But now that sporting events are allowed again, we look forward to a competition moment that is important to us as an association.
