Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new look of the Grand Vitara in India. The Grand Vitara with the new look is expected to break into the SUV market in the Bollywood country. The Grand Vitara itself is the Suzuki version of the Toyota Hyryder. Both are built using almost similar platforms (Global C-Platrform), engines and features.
In terms of exterior appearance, the Grand Vitara will have a sturdy design in the style of SUVs in general. Do not forget the sporty touch is also presented from the SUV in the middle class.
In the interior, Maruti presents a luxurious look by embedding gold accents and stitching in the same color as the seats. For added comfort, there is also a ventilated seat on the front passenger side.

There are two engine options offered by the Suzuki Grand Vitara. The first is the 1.5L Intelligent Electric Hybrid engine which has a fairly good fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/liter. This machine provides three choices of driving models such as EV, Eco, Power, and Normal. This engine is paired with an e-CVT transmission. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 115.56 PS at 5,500 rpm and 136.8 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.
While the other one carries the 1.5 K-Series Dual Jet engine, Dual VVT with Progressive Smart Hybrid. This machine is equipped with Brake Energy Regeneration and Torque assist features as well as Idle Stop Start. This combination makes fuel consumption more efficient at 21.11 km / liter. The transmission that is carried for this machine is a conventional 6-speed automatic with Paddle Shift and a 5-speed manual. The 1.5 K-Series engine is capable of spitting out 103.06 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 136.8 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.
Suzuki also embeds a variety of features in this Grand Vitara. The first is the Colored Head Up Display which provides information with a better display. Then there is also a 360 camera that can detect all objects around the car.
From the entertainment system, there is a 9-inch Smart Play Pro+ screen and is connected to the ‘Hi Suzuki’ voice command. The Grand Vitara has also been equipped with a Panoramic Sunroof which gives a luxurious impression to the medium SUV.

Not to forget, security and safety are also the main thing. The security and safety features found on the Suzuki Grand Vitara include 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program with Hill Hold Assist, 3-Point ELR seat Belt, Rear Disc Brake, Hill Descent Control, to the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
Unfortunately, Maruti has not revealed the price of this potential challenger to the Hyundai Creta to the Kia Seltos.
