The Lada Iskra model will retain the signature X-shaped design of the front end. For some time, Lada Iskra and Lada Granta will be produced in parallel. According to preliminary data, AvtoVAZ may announce the new Lada Iskra as early as August 2023. It is not yet known whether a prototype, a running model, or just images of the upcoming model will be shown. The Lada Iskra will go on sale only in the second half of 2024.
The new model will replace the Lada Granta family. The new Lada Iskra model will be built on an adapted CMF-B LS platform from the Renault concern. The Lada Iskra model family will include a sedan, station wagon and cross-station wagon. As for the engine line of the new Lada Iskra, it will be presented in three options. These will be naturally aspirated engines with a displacement of 1.6 liters with a capacity of 90 and 106 horsepower, as well as a 1.8-liter engine with a capacity of 122 horsepower.
