The history of Kaine West and Taylor Swift’s complicated relationship began at the 2009 MTV Video Music Award
The new video posted on the Internet by American rapper Kanye West and singer Taylor Swift sheds light on the old feud between the two celebrities.
From the record it follows that when Kanye West asked Taylor Swift for permission to use her name in the new single in 2016, he could not tell her the whole truth.
It’s about the single “Famous” from The Life of Pablo album, where there are such lines: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous” (“I think that Taylor and I can still do sex / Why? Yes, because I made this bitch famous “).
The track caused a surge of indignation on the part of the singer and her many fans.
The wife of Kim Kardashian defended the rapper, posting a Kanye West telephone conversation with Taylor Swift on social networks, which, in her opinion, should indicate that the singer agreed to mention her name in the song.
After accusations of lying, Taylor Swift stated that the record had been edited before publication, and she herself did not know exactly how the rapper would call her in the song.
Of laid out on YouTube on March 21, a 20-minute video of “The Full Unedited Version of a Taylor Swift and Kanye West Talk,” reveals some details. In the 11th minute of the video, the rapper asks the singer to help him with the promotion of a new single: “So, my next single – I would like you to tweet about him.”
He further explains that “there will be very ambiguous words at the very beginning”, in response to this Swift laughs and asks what exactly. Kanye West explains that he “thought about this line for eight months,” then he discussed it with his wife and creative team, trying to somehow rework it.
Then he suddenly cuts himself off and asks Taylor Swift why she was “sad”, to which the singer answers with the question: “Is there something unpleasant there?”
Two minutes later, the rapper finally quotes this line: “To all my Southside n ***** s that know me best. I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex” (“To all my n ***** m from Southside, that they know me better than anyone. I think Taylor Swift could owe me sex. “)
Taylor Swift laughs and says that she sees nothing evil here, and Kanye West explains the reason for the call: Taylor Swift has “an army, a multi-billion dollar country of fans,” and if she decided that it was funny, then everyone else would agree, and therefore it’s important so that the singer is the first to say about the single Kanye West on social networks.
In the Netflix documentary, Swift talked about how the scandal erupted: “When people decided that I was cunning and evil, and insidious, and a bad person, it was a moment when I could not recover, because my whole life revolved around it” .
