It’s a busy day for Apple. Not only the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are now available, but also the new ones iPad Air has officially gone on sale. That’s nice, because the tablet was already unveiled last month. Apple probably waited so long to release it because the brand new Air has the same processor as the iPhone 12 series, namely the A14 Bionic chip.

The pre-order has now started. If you are quick, you will receive the tablet next week 23rd October, at home. You can choose from two storage capacities: 64GB and 256GB. The entry-level model costs 669 euros.
The colorful Air also appears in five colors: green, sky blue, rose gold, space gray and silver. The entry-level model only has internet via WiFi. If you also want to be online on the go, you must purchase the Cellular variant (which costs 140 euros more).
About the new Air
2020 is a huge year for the iPad Air. Not only does Apple’s tablet have a fresh design, but the inside has also been thoroughly tinkered with. The tablet is controlled by the A14 chip, which is also the beating heart of the brand new iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max in iPhone 12 mini forms. The new Air is therefore about 40 percent more powerful than the iPad Air 2019.
Furthermore, a breath of fresh air has gone through the screen format. The new iPad Air is with its 10.9 inch screen, much thinner bezels (screen edges) and is equipped with a USB-C connection. This allows you to connect the tablet to your camera without a connector, for example. All in all, the iPad Air 2020 has the best value for money of all Apple tablets from this year.
