New information about Samsung Galaxy S22: Smaller and Ultra screens will have LTPO AMOLED screen

As you can see in the screenshots, the Galaxy S22 series will have screens a little smaller than its predecessors. For comparison, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ come with 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch screens, respectively. The S21 has a 6.8 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The device comes in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy and Phantom Brown.

The Galaxy S21 smartphone is composed of a quad camera: 108 MP (wide angle) + 10 MP (telephoto periscope) + 10 MP (telephoto) + 12 MP (ultra wide) while at the front there is 40 MP (wide angle). Sensors include fingerprint (under display, ultrasonic), accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, compass and barometer.

Anyway, Galaxy S22 Ultra features the same 6.8 inch screen as its predecessor Galaxy S21 Ultra, smartphone comes with 12GB and 16GB of RAM with internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB. The device is constructed with a glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), a glass back (Gorilla Glass) and an aluminum frame.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is supplied with a non-removable 5000 mAh Li-Po battery + 25W fast charging + USB Power Delivery 3.0 + 15W Qi / PMA fast wireless charging + 4.5W wireless reverse charging. Also, just like the last device, the first will be the only model in the entire Galaxy S22 series with an LTPO panel.

Thus, Samsung had launched the Galaxy S21 series in January. It’s only been five months since the announcement, however, details about the Galaxy S22 series have already started to appear on the internet. According to various sources, the next generation smartphones from the Galaxy S series will have a smaller screen than current generation models. They are suggested to arrive with the screen sizes below. That said, the screen resolution of these phones is a mystery for now.

But we hope it will be similar to the current generation. Therefore, the Ultra should have a WQHD+ screen, while the Plus and ‘Vanilla’ models will likely have FHD+ panels. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the Samsung Galaxy S22 series at the moment. However, we hope to learn more about these devices before their official launch early next year.
