The first-generation Haval H5 SUV of the second generation, first exposed two months ago, is gradually emerging from the shadows: Great Wall has published full-size images of the car. It is assumed that this car (with internal code B06) will replace the current frame model H5, which is another iteration of the well-known all-terrain vehicle Great Wall Hover. Although it is possible that the old and new models will be produced in parallel, as is often the case in the Chinese automobile industry.
Phill Simmons worked on the appearance of the SUV, who in the summer of 2018 left the position of chief exterior designer at Land Rover and moved to China to become the chief designer of Haval. The new H5 has nothing to do with other cars of the brand, brutal proportions dominate in appearance and design features of the Mercedes G-class are visible. Off-road add black bumpers, sills and wing edging.
The interior so far can only be seen in spy shots: there are two displays, a two-story central tunnel and an automatic transmission washer selector. So far, only the technology is known that the future Haval H5 will have a new platform, not yet used on other models. A full-fledged premiere of the SUV should take place in the third quarter.
