Gipf-Oberfrick has sent the introduction of the speed limit at the urn bachab
The credit of 170,000 francs for the introduction of Tempo 30 on all district streets in Gipf-Oberfrick was rejected with 887 votes against against 769 votes in favor. In 1656 eligible ballots, the turnout was 63.4 percent.

Even in the third attempt, the introduction of Tempo 30 with the Gipf-Oberfricker electorate had no chance. Of course, the disappointment is great, says Melanie Jenni from the committee «Pro Tempo 30 for more quality of living». She is convinced that Gipf-Oberfrick missed a great opportunity. Nonetheless, she notes that this time more people have spoken out in favor of the introduction than ten years ago. But it wasn’t enough.
