New Features Tested by WhatsApp on iPhone

Jakarta

WhatsApp for the platform iPhone just updated to version 22.2.75. Many new features that previously had been in beta for a long time are now officially available on the WhatsApp application for all users.

One of the new features of this update is the ability to pause and resume while recording voice messages. This fungus has been tested since last October for the beta version of WhatsApp and has now been publicly launched.

With this feature, users will see a pause button when recording voice messages, so that before sending, users can preview their voice notes. Users can also delete voice notes or the option to continue recording.

And recently WhatsApp has reportedly started testing the ability to pause and resume recording voice messages on WhatsApp desktop.

Another new feature included in the 22.2.75 update on iOS 15 is Focus mode support, with this feature users can ensure that certain users can send you messages even if you have Focus mode turned on.

The latter is the ability to display a user’s profile photo when receiving message notifications from WhatsApp. Just like Twitter, you can now see the profile picture of the person who sent the message.

At this time when the user receives a notification from WhatsApp, you can’t see the photo but only the name of the person who sent the message as reported detikINET from 9to5mac.

In the future, WhatsApp has more features to roll out, like reactions in iMessage. With the beta version 22.2.72 of WhatsApp for iOS, the app has new settings for managing reactions, although public beta testers are still unlikely to react to messages.
