New edition presented at up to 300 Hz

After some other gaming notebooks, the Razer Blade Pro 17 is now being reissued. The 2020 model receives a simple hardware upgrade and can now be ordered with a 300Hz display for the first time.

Razer’s largest and most powerful gaming notebook, the Razer Blade Pro 17, is now available in a new generation. Compared to the previous model, the case has not been revised, but there are innovations under the hood and in the displays used.

FullHD variant with 300Hz display

For example, the new Razer Blade Pro 17 can be purchased in two different display configurations. In the FullHD model, the 17.3-inch IPS-type display achieved an impressive 300 Hz for the first time – previously, however, a strong 240 Hz was standard. Alternatively, the gaming notebook is also offered with a 17.3-inch 4K panel. This comes with 120 Hz and touch support.

Inside the Razer Blade Pro 17 is a current Intel Core I7-10875H octa-core processor in combination with 16 GB DDR-RAM, which can however be expanded up to 64 GB. Current Nvidia models of the RTX 2000 series are used as GPUs, whereby buyers can choose from a GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q and a GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-Q. There is also a PCIe SSD up to 1 TB in size, but an additional one can be inserted in the free M.2 slot.

In addition to the improved technical data, the Razer Blade Pro 17 has the familiar features of its predecessors. These include the keyboard with chroma lighting, the effective vapor chamber cooling system and the high-quality aluminum unibody housing. Around this are also the connections, which are divided into 3x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (1x Thunderbolt 3), 1x Ethernet, 1x HDMI 2.0b, 1x DC-In and an SD Card reader. Wireless standards support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

Top model costs 4,199 euros

The new Razer Blade Pro 17 is now available in Germany at prices starting at 2,899.99 euros available in the manufacturer’s online shop. The top model with a UHD touchscreen and the RTX 2080 Super Max-Q are priced at € 4,199.99.
