New digital portal facilitates access to vaccination data – WSOC TV

RALEIGH, NC — People in North Carolina who have been vaccinated at places like CVS, Walgreens or Harris Teeter can now access their vaccine information online, according to a statement from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. North (NCDHHS).

The NCDHHS said the new COVID-19 vaccine portal can be used by anyone who received the shot or booster at a pharmacy or grocery store that participates in the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.

“The most recent update to the portal makes it easier for more people in North Carolina to access their own data and stay up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccination,” said Dr. Susan Kansagra, deputy director of the Division of Public Health at the NCDHHS.

Individuals will first need to activate their portal by calling the COVID-19 Vaccine Help Desk at 888-675-4567 to verify their identity. The help center is open from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, and from 8 am to 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Residents who were vaccinated through a state-registered provider, such as a doctor’s office, hospital, health department, or community event, and who provided an email address to their provider, can also view and print their vaccination information. vaccine on the portal.

Individuals who were vaccinated out of state, in a military setting, or at a tribal or urban Indian Health Service facility will not be able to use the portal and should instead contact their provider directly.
