MOSCOW, Oct 8 – RIA Novosti. AMD has unveiled Ryzen 5000 series processors. Four models are built on the Zen 3 architecture, told at an online presentation, representatives of the American chipmaker. The youngest six-core model Ryzen 5 5600X operates at a frequency of 3.7-4.6 gigahertz, in 12 threads at a TDP of 65 watts. The other three chips have a TDP of 105 watts. The Ryzen 7 5800X is an eight-core, 16-thread processor with an operating frequency of 3.8-4.7 GHz. The older Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 9 5950X are much more serious. The first with 12 cores and 24 threads, and the top version – 16/32. All chips are built on a 7nm process technology. According to AMD, the new processors outperform similar solutions from Intel in gaming scenarios. For example, the pre-top Ryzen 9 5900X outperforms the Core i9-10900K by 6-10% at 1080p and will go on sale on November 5, 2020 worldwide. The Ryzen 5 5600X will be priced at $ 299, the 5800X at $ 449, the 5900X at $ 549, and the 5950X at $ 799.
