The National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy Spheres (NKREKU) has already fined 5 oblenergos for “non-compliance with shutdown schedules in the face of a shortage of electricity.”
The fine was imposed on DTEK Kyiv Grids and Odessa Grids.
Last week, similar fines were imposed on Vinnitsaoblenergo, Volynblenergo and Chernivtsioblenergo.
Questions about fines in Lvivoblenergo, Ternopiloblenergo, Zakarpattyaoblenergo, DTEK Kyiv regional power grids and Poltavaoblenergo have been postponed to the next meetings.
Recall that since October 2022, Russia began to regularly carry out terrorist missile attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. At least 50% of energy facilities were damaged or destroyed.
As a result of these attacks, Ukraine’s energy system experienced a capacity shortage, causing planned and emergency blackouts throughout the country.
