Anna Netrebko recently gave an interview in which she told how she survived the quarantine. She admitted that she quickly returned to work, unlike many colleagues who still do not perform. The artist noted that the pandemic has greatly changed her life. She hasn’t been to New York for a year, where she has an apartment. The singer admitted that she really missed the city. But at the same time, this is the second time this year she came to Russia.
Anna spent several weeks in St. Petersburg. She walked with her son Thiago over the frozen Gulf of Finland, and also took him to museums and exhibitions. The opera diva has given several concerts at the Mariinsky Theater. And the day before the artist arrived in Moscow. She spent a long time preparing for the opera Turandot, making her debut in the full version of the production.
On stage, she appeared in a luxurious dress with a train and long hair. There was a kokoshnik on her head. Her husband Yusif Eyvazov spoke with Netrebko. They delighted the audience, who atoned for them in a standing ovation.
