Netflix unveils animation using the action game Gwimuja IP

On the 25th (local time), Netflix released a screenshot of the new Gwimuja animation using the intellectual property (IP) of Capcom’s action game Gwimuja.

Takashi Miike and Shinya Sugai, who participated in the animation production of Dragon’s Dogma, will be the ghost’s general manager and animation director, respectively.

In the screenshot released this time by Netflix, Musashi Miyamoto was drawn with the motif of Toshiro Mifune, an actor who has played various roles in Japanese samurai films.

The original Gwimuja series is an action-adventure game that has been released in a total of three series since it was first released for the PlayStation 2 in 2001.
