Netflix has started a campaign for Chadwick Boseman to win an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. The streaming platform has confirmed that Variety.
According to Netflix, Boseman deserves an Oscar for his role in the film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, which will be released on the streaming service in December. It is the last film in which the actor can be seen since his death.
In addition to Boseman, Netflix is also committed to lead actress Viola Davis, to ensure that she is nominated for Best Actress.
