“Needles were left in the veins.” An examination about the patient’s discharge has been started in Stradiņi – in Latvia – News

The 87-year-old Catholic priest Gregory Kibuli was taken to hospital because he complained of severe pain. Soon the old man called his relatives to have him discharged.

When relatives arrived on the hospital grounds, they saw that the old man had already been pushed out of the hospital in an open carriage. Relatives were surprised that Gregor was discharged from the hospital with all the needles in his hands.

After being brought home, the man was still in pain. An ambulance was called again, but after a moment the man’s breathing had stopped.

The hospital explains that the surveillance camera records will be examined and an inspection will be carried out to find out the circumstances of the incident.
