Nearly 300 kilos of illegal fireworks found in a home in Utrecht | Inland

Police have launched an investigation into the origin of the fireworks. The thirteen boxes have been confiscated and will be destroyed.

Investigation services have so far taken more fireworks in 2021 than in the whole of last year, according to the weekly fireworks barometer of the Public Prosecution Service (OM). In total, the counter this year stands at more than 150,000 kilos. In all of 2020, almost 123,000 kilograms were seized.
