NDSU Bison Fall Fan Day set for August 19th at Fargodome
FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State University (NDSU) athletics announced today, July 26th, that its annual Fall Fan Day will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, at the Fargodome. This event marks the official kickoff to the 2025-26 athletic season, offering Bison Nation an exclusive possibility to connect with coaches and student-athletes.
Presented by WDAY, Gate City Bank, and Great Clips, Fall Fan Day will begin at 6:00 p.m. with entry through the Fargodome’s east lobby. From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including autograph sessions with NDSU athletes, inflatable games, bounce houses for children, and skill competitions. Student-athletes representing all NDSU sports will participate, providing fans with a chance to interact with their favorite Bison.
This year’s Fall Fan Day will be the first opportunity for fans to acquire the new 2025 Bison yard sign, showcasing their team spirit. fall sports posters will also be available for free distribution, and corporate partners will be offering giveaways throughout the event.Members of the Junior Bison Club can collect their 2025-26 welcome packets.
At 7:00 p.m., a fan-selected movie will be screened on the Fargodome’s videoboard. Fans are encouraged to bring blankets and claim their spot on the field or in the chairback seating. Concession stands will be open, offering popcorn and snacks for purchase.
Voting for the movie selection is currently underway on NDSU Athletics’ social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). Participation is encouraged to ensure the chosen film reflects the preferences of Bison Nation.
The evening will culminate in a spectacular fireworks show provided by Starr Fireworks, beginning at approximately 9:30 p.m. and lasting until 9:45 p.m. The show will take place outside the Fargodome,providing a grand finale to a day of Bison fun.
