NCCC meeting voted to select ‘Charnchai Sawangsak’ as the new President of the Supreme Administrative Court

23 Feb. 64 – At the Administrative Court, Chaengwattana Road, the reporter reported At a meeting of the Judicial Commission of the Administrative Court (BCC) on February 17, 2021, the meeting of the Royal Thai Police had a resolution to elect Mr. Chanchai Sawangsak, the 1st Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court to serve as the Chairman of the Administrative Court. Supreme representative of Mr. Piya Pathangtha, the current President of the Supreme Administrative Court, who is about to hold office for a full term according to the Act Establishment of the Administrative Court and Administrative Procedure (No. 9) 2017, stating that the President of the Supreme Administrative Court has Term of office 4 years From the day that His Majesty graciously ordered Appointed and held for only one term on September 26, 2021, however, Mr. Piya Patangtha will continue to serve as the Supreme Administrative Court judge. In the process of appointing the new President of the Supreme Administrative Court, BEC will nominate Mr. Chanchai Sawangsak to the Prime Minister. And the Prime Minister shall submit for approval to the Senate within 15 days from the date of being nominated.
