NBA coronavirus Several Los Angeles staff members are in mandatory quarantine
La NBA was surprised this Sunday after it became known that multiple Los Angeles Clippers staff members they will be in mandatory quarantine after a case registered within the organization. According to information from Adrian Wojnarowski a person was infected after a meeting he held with people from the franchise on December 31.
Preliminary reports indicate that other workers have not tested positive for coronavirus, however, due to the protocol, they must remain in isolation. The Clippers were in trouble as the case became known while the team was in Salt Lake City.
According to Wojnarowski, the isolation has not involved players and coach staff; as the meeting on New Years occurred solely among the Los Angeles staff at the hotel where they were staying. It should be noted that these people had to return in vans in order to comply with the protocol.
The Clippers have agreed a duel for this Sunday against the Suns, It has not been postponed because none of the closest basketball players and staff have been infected.
