The Picture of the Night: The Exclusion of LeBron James
He had only known this once in his career. This Sunday, LeBron James doubled his total of expulsions since his first steps in 2003 after a heated argument with Isaiah Stewart. The cause ? A frankly nasty nudge given by LBJ to the young inside of the Pistons after a fight for the rebound at the start of the third quarter.
Immediately, Stewart began to bleed profusely and immediately aimed LeBron James on the floor. Mad with rage, the Pistons player seemed to calm down at first before returning to the charge several times, even after being brought back to the bench. The NBA is expected to distribute new penalties on Monday.

The two excluded players, it is finally Russell Westbrook (26 pts, 9 rebounds, 10 assists) and Anthony Davis (30 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks) who ended up taking the light. Limited to a 2/10 on shots, Stephen Curry could see that he was emulated in the Californian workforce. The Warriors remain at the top of the Western Conference and are riding a streak of four straight wins.
The remake (without the stars): Clippers-Dallas
It was in the first round of the 2021 playoffs. Thanks to Kawhi Leonard, stratospheric, the Clippers had overcome the Mavs of Luka Doncic, bluffing, after a Homeric duel (4-3) last June. But Sunday, the two best players of the franchises were absent, injured.
In their absence, the Clippers were able to count on their winger Paul George (29 points with 12 successful baskets out of 25 attempted, 4 rebounds and 6 assists), to beat the Texans again in an undecided game until the end. Led 47-46 at halftime, the Californians made the difference in the third quarter (25-15), and barely managed to hold their result, despite the good match of the Latvian Kristaps Porzingis (25 pts at 10/18, 8 rebounds), effective in the fourth quarter.
At the very end of the game, when the Mavericks were just five points away, Reggie Jackson gave Staple Center spectators the action of the evening, scoring a reverse lay-up, back to the basket, while he was surrounded by the defenders.
