Navalny himself ended up in the medical unit of the colony with a fever and symptoms of illness.
“During the planned prophylactic medical examination, the convict showed signs of a respiratory illness, including a high temperature,” the Federal Penitentiary Service said.
The FSIN also claims that they took all the necessary tests from Navalny, in particular, for COVID-19.
Previously, Navalny complained that his temperature rose to 38.1 degrees and a severe cough developed. He added that three out of 15 people in his unit were recently diagnosed with tuberculosis.
