Western countries understand the futility of negotiations with the Kremlin.

This opinion was expressed by a Russian publicist and sociologist Andrey Piontkovsky aired on the Freedom TV channel.
According to him, as a result of the NATO summit, many positive decisions were made, the main one being Pentagon contract to produce NASAMS missile systems for Ukraine.
“This is the most important thing. For the first time we are talking about Pentagon orders for Ukraine. That is, not from warehouses – warehouses are good, but they are running out,” the expert explained.
Piontkovsky also stressed that “many wonderful things were said at the summit”.
“For example, Stoltenberg’s words. He said: yes, we pay the price for this war, but we pay with money and the Ukrainians with blood.. They always understood this, but they never admitted it. This is a very important statement. It means that sooner or later, if not today, but tomorrow, they will decide to give up all means to end the conflict as soon as possible,” the Russian publicist believes.
The expert also recalled the speech of the head of the US State Department Anthony Blinken:
“On the second day, Blinken spent an hour explaining what we have been talking about for several months. Negotiations with Putin are not possible, negotiations are just a tool for him to take a break, to regroup.” The only way to peace is the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces“.
According to him, the West today shows a decisive political attitude:
