KONTAN.CO.ID – NEW YORK (Reuters). At the end of the week, the Nasdaq closed lower as data released for a sharp slowdown in job growth in the United States (US). Meanwhile, the two other major Wall Street indexes, namely the Dow Jones and S&P, were closed tending to remain stagnant on Friday (7/8) New York time.
The Dow Jones rose 46.5 points or 0.17% to 27,433.48 while the S&P 500 rose 2.12 points, or 0.06%, to 3,351.28. The Nasdaq fell 97.09 points or 0.87% to 11,010.98.
