NASA’s Curiosity Rover Finds Corals on Mars, Hints of New Life?

Curiosity explored 154 km (96 miles) of Gale Crater and obtained samples of rock, soil, and air for analysis on board.

This car-sized rover is as tall as a basketball player and uses a 2.1 m (7 ft) long arm to place the tool near the rock selected for study.

Its large size allows it to carry a sophisticated set of science instruments.

One of which is Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI), a rover version of the magnifying hand lens that geologists usually bring to the field.
