NASA Postpones Spacewalk Mission of Two Astronauts Outside ISS Due to Space Junk

Previously, astronauts Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron were scheduled to explore outside the space station (spacewalk). However, five hours before the plan was executed, NASA via Twitter account said, mission spacewalk to repair the antenna failed and was cancelled.

“NASA received information about the presence of space debris. Due to lack of opportunity to assess the possible risks, the astronauts and team decided to postpone spacewalk which is scheduled for November 30 until there is more information, “NASA said in a joke.

In contrast to NASA, Russia said the attempt to destroy its space satellite, Tselina-D, which has been in orbit since 1982, was successful. The debris is said to pose no threat to space activity.

However, after the tests were run, the astronauts on the ISS, consisting of 4 Americans, one German, and two Russians, were ordered to seek shelter in a capsule on the ISS.
